Not sure what you want to major in? 别担心! You are not required to declare a major until your sophomore year at St. 博纳旺蒂尔.

Undeclared 艺术 and Sciences majors can explore courses in biology, 化学, 生物化学, 生物信息学, 计算机科学, 网络安全, 犯罪学, 英语, engineering 物理, environmental studies, health and society, 历史, international studies, literary publishing and editing, 数学, 现代语言, 音乐, 哲学, 物理, 心理学, 政治科学, 社会学, 西班牙语, 剧院, 神学, 视觉艺术, and women's studies.

每一个&S student is assigned to an adviser who has demonstrated excellence in advising. Through a partnership with the SBU Student Success Center (SSC)和 SBU Career and Professional Readiness Center (CPRC), our advisers will help incoming students plan for their future by exploring how their interests and aptitudes mesh with a college major. You will meet with your advisor, a career counselor, and faculty members so that you can find the area in 艺术 and Sciences that makes the most sense for you.

Are you interested in business but unsure what area of the field you want to pursue? The Undeclared 业务 major will introduce you to the world of business.

The School of 业务 allows students who are interested in business, but unsure what particular area they want to pursue, the opportunity to start classes and explore their options.

As an Undecided 业务 major, you will take the same business core courses required of all business majors. The business core classes begin first semester and provide an early opportunity to explore many different business areas, such as accounting, economics, finance, sports management and marketing.

As you explore each introductory course and increase your business knowledge you’ll begin to uncover your interests, strengths and talents, enabling you to make an informed decision on which business major is a best fit. Your dedicated business faculty adviser will also help you decide what specific major best suits your interests and career goals.

Along with coursework, student organizations are a great way to explore business paths. Students with an Undeclared 业务 major are encouraged to take part in several clubs and organizations within the School of 业务, 如:

• Students in Money Management (SIMM)

• 博纳旺蒂尔 Accounting Association
  

Students must declare a particular field of concentration before the end of the sophomore year. 然而, within the School of 业务, we encourage students to select a major by end of freshman year.

As an Undeclared Communication major, you can explore journalism, social and digital media, 广播, 广告, corporate communication, 公共关系, 体育媒体, 视频制作, media studies and more.

Undeclared Communication majors take courses that are required for all of the majors in the Jandoli School and make progress to their degree while figuring out the right specialty. The Jandoli School offers majors in Broadcast 贝博官网app体彩网, 贝博官网app体彩网, 媒体研究, 体育媒体, Strategic Communication, 视频制作, and Communication, Social Justice and Advocacy.
